BENEFITS AND EFFECTIVENESS:
EDTA removes the smear layer, softens the dentin and facilitates the removal of calcified obstruction
Urea hydrogen peroxide reacts with sodium hypochlorite to produce oxygen bubbles that remove waste within the canal.
The lubricating medium facilitates the movement of the instrument within the channel to prevent the instrument from getting stuck or broken
Unobstructed dentin tubules and apical area allow better penetration of root canal medications and fillings
Rapid cleaning and enlargement of the canals because EDTA softens the canal walls and eliminates calcium deposits.
EDTA paste is easier to place in the canals than liquid EDTA solution

Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) 17%
Urea peroxide 3.5%
Polypropylene glycol and polyethylene glycol
